* If you would like to enable us offering reduced fees for early-career researchers and participants from less-represented regions, please pay an additional Solidarity Sponsorship Fee in an amount of your own choice.
** To promote equal opportunity, we offer a limited number of reduced fees for ILA members who are early-career researchers and/or participants from less-represented regions without sufficient funding. Eligibility is based on self-assessment. Please select this option only if you have no or limited access to funding, so that support reaches those who need it most.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received by 28 February 2026 (11:59 CET) will receive 100% minus EUR 10,00 processing fee of the paid conference fee refunded.
Cancellations received from 1 March 2026 until 30 June 2026 (11:59 CET) will receive 50% of the paid conference fee refunded.
Cancellations received after 1 July 2026 (11:59 CET) or no-shows will receive no refund of the paid conference fee.
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Event Management of the University of Vienna (email: congress@univie.ac.at or fax +43 1 4277-17699).
Conference participants cancellation insurance
In order to avoid annoyance and financial disadvantages, we recommend that you take out a conference cancellation insurance with Europäische Reiseversichung.
